Demat account is used for holding the shares bought in the trading account. To buy/ sell shares you must have a trading account from any of the broker.
What is brokerage account?
There is nothing called as brokerage account. You only need trading and demat accounts.
One is for buying shares and another is to hold it for a period of time.
