Is it Possible to Open Multiple Demat Accounts with Single Stockbroker?

    Vishal Jain
Added an answer on September 29, 2021 at 3:44 pm

You cannot open multiple demat accounts with same stock broker (or) Depository Participant. Rather you can open in the name of your family member or your friend. But it is possible to open multiple accounts but not all at one broker. So in simple words, one PAN card, one account with one broker.

Trading Account: Trading account is used to buy or sell shares in stock market. Demat Account: Demat account is just like our bank account, it is used to hold the stocks, mutual funds, commodities, bonds, etc. Whatever the shares you buy in the trading account can be hold in the demat account.

If we observe the Nifty and Bank Nifty charts, there are around 6 to 8 trending days in a month. Identifying the trending day before the market opens gives good returns to the day traders.

    How to Identify Trending Day?

We cannot predict the market 100%, but most probably the Nifty and Bank Nifty are expected to be trending after a range bound market.

The price action of the market is in an order of Range Bound – Trending – Volatile.

The above order repeats most of the times but not all the time.

Most of the Weekly and Monthly Expiry days i.e., Thursdays are Range Bound.

A day before Expiry days are mostly volatile as per my back tested data.

So, mostly we can expect volatile market on Wednesdays and range bound market on Thursdays.

For Example: If you want to buy XYZ company share and the share value of that company is Rs. 120, so the minimum capital required is 120+brokerage charges.

In the same way if the share value is Rs. 10 then you need Rs.10+Brokerage charges to buy that share.

The is no maximum limit too. You can add funds based on your financial capability.

Break out trades are the most excited trades for the beginners. First let us understand what is a break out trade. Taking a trade whenever the stock/ index breaks the important levels like Support, Resistance, Previous Day High, Previous Day Low, etc., is called as a breakout trade.

As per the back tested data around 30-40 percent breakouts are fake. Fake breakouts are nothing but the price manipulation by the big investors.

Retail traders are the people who got trapped in the fake breakouts. So, how to identify the fake breakouts?

Following are the signs to identify the high probability breakouts.

    • Candle should close after the breakout (in 5 minute time frame)
    • Breakout after consolidation for at least 20 to 30 minutes

Consider the breakouts if they meet at least the above parameters. Avoid parabolic breakouts, most of the times it reverses immediately.
